QUOTH THE WRITER ANTHOLOGY

**Submission Deadline for Issue 2: November 1, 2021**

In June of 2021, Quoth the Writer released its first anthology. At first, I, owner Lisa Hodorovych, wasn't 100% sure if I was going to continue publishing an anthology each year (or bi-annually, or quarterly, or monthly) until the first issue came out. Not only was it the pure joy I felt in creating it, it was the joy that came from the contributors that really pushed me to continue publishing this anthology. The fact that they kept on thanking me because they were able to live their dream was the cherry on top of an already incredible sundae!

Now, the journey continues as Quoth the Writer prepares for Issue 2: Celebration.

On December 30, 2021, Quoth the Writer will be publishing it's second anthology with the theme being celebration. As the world slowly recovers from the coronavirus and begins to gather again for birthdays, holidays, concerts, etc., I felt it befitting to have stories and poems that celebrate life.

I will be looking for fiction stories, non-fiction pieces, and poems with the overall theme of celebration. It could be celebrating a holiday. It could be celebrating an achievement. It could be celebrating a victory. It could be celebrating surviving a disease or near-death experience. It could be anything of that nature as long as something is being celebrated. Any genre is acceptable, except for erotica, and profanity can be used, but please keep it minimal. Don't let every other word be a curse word!

The fiction and non-fiction pieces can be up to 10,000 words (about 40 pages, double-spaced) or less and only 10 or less poems can be submitted. You do not have to worry about formatting as I will take care of that; however, I do ask that you submit a Word document - or PDF - that is in Times New Roman, 12-pt font, and double-spaced.

There is NO submission fee for this.

Contributors will receive one (1) complimentary copy of the anthology and then any additional copies will be at a discounted rate (50%). Contributors will also get space on this website to showcase their other works.

When you are ready to submit, please send it to qtwanthology@gmail.com with the subject line stating "Celebration Anthology", your last name, and the form you are submitting (fiction, non-fiction, or poem). For example, "Celebration Anthology - Hodorovych - Fiction".

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me, Lisa Hodorovych, at qtwanthology@gmail.com.

Let the fun continue!
